I just wanted to let you know that our order for the sporran flask, cap badge and kilt pin arrived yesterday. I love the flask. Now my husband will be able to carry some "refreshment" for me. Thank you so much, and we are looking forward to ordering from you again.
With the entire plaid grasped in your left hand shake the material so that the pleats fall into place. Adjust each pleat with your right hand so that they are evenly spread.
At the same time, make sure that the loose ends face away from each other (you will find it much easier to form the aprons of the kilt).
Bring the plaid behind you and over your right or left shoulder (whichever is most natural) so that the loose end closest to your body faces to your right side.
The material should hang down the centre of your back level with the back of your knees. Hold the pleats between your chin and your collar-bone,
Pull clear the loose ends and fasten your belt loosely around your waist.
Pull again on the loose ends so that you have sufficient material at each side to form the aprons.
Adjust the material behind you so that the pleats are evenly distributed. Allow the plaid to fall behind you.
