Glenfinnan period buckle shoe

The Glenfinnan. Modelled on the buckle shoes worn by Prince Charles Edward Stuart (Bonny Prince Charlie) during the 1745 uprising.

This is a handmade shoe to the highest standards:

Very high quality leather uppers and stitched leather soles. Leather heels with composite finish for wear. Thick polished pewter Jacobean styled buckles on a single latchet (strap) which is attached to an elasicated button for comfort. Suitable for weddings, ceilidh dancing (specially strengthened for this purpose) and pipers, in fact for anyone who wants a special and dsitrctive shoe for a special occasion. Suitable for full Highland dress (Kenmore, Sheriffmuir, Montrose outfits, for example).
