The Argyll Jacket is the alternative to the Prince Charlie Jacket. It is predominantly worn for day events where the Prince Charlie would be considered to be overdressed. The Argyll Jacket is often worn with a belt and buckle and accompanied with a semi-dress sporran.
For formal events a 5 button waistcoat is highly recommended.
