In Dupion silk or light-weight wool, cut on the bias (on the cross).

The Dupion we use is 100% silk with a coating to add firmness as preferred for bride's dresses, so our dress maker hand-washes it to remove the coating. As a result these skirts drape as they would if made with the more expensive pure silk.
