The Skins
The animal skins in which these sporrans are illustrated is a guide only - our standard range includes all the furs illustrated - goat, rabbit, angora, pony, chinchilla and bovine skins. We can have also have these sporrans made up in sealskin but cannot supply sealskin to the USA.
Other animal skins are available, and we will quote a price for these on request.
The Colour
The colour of the fur is variable and the size of the tassels can vary, so if you have a particular preference please state this in your order.
The Sporran Top
The suffix to our reference in the section of full dress sporrans refers to the finish on the sporran top (the cantle) and can be decoded as follows:
- a - antique silver finish
- b - bright finish
- g -gilt finish
